Answer: We chose QuickBooks Online (QBO) as our core platform because it is the industry leader in security, functionality, and integration. It allows for real-time collaboration, meaning both you and our team can access your data simultaneously from anywhere. Additionally, QBO integrates seamlessly with thousands of business apps (like payroll, point-of-sale, and inventory), ensuring your financial “intel” is always accurate and up-to-date.

2. Are your services strictly online, or can we meet in person?
Answer: Not at all! we are proud to be based in Sacramento California, and while we love our Sacramento neighbors, we are a “paperless” firm. We use secure portals, Google Meet, Zoom and leverage cloud technology to serve businesses across the United States. Most of our collaboration happens virtually for maximum efficiency; however, if you are located within the Sacramento area and prefer an in-person meeting, we are happy to accommodate. Please note that for in-person consultations or site visits, a standard mileage charge will be applied to cover travel expenses.
3. What specific financial information will I receive each month?
Answer: Our goal is to provide the data you need to maximize profitability. Every month, you will receive a professional “Financial Intel” packet, which includes a Profit & Loss Statement (showing where your money went) and a Balance Sheet (showing what you own and owe). In our higher service tiers, we also provide custom KPI dashboards and cash flow projections so you can see exactly how to deploy your capital for growth.
4. My books are currently a mess, can you help me get caught up?
Answer: Absolutely. Many of our new clients come to us with several months (or even years) of “messy” books. We specialize in Clean-up and Catch-up projects. We will go back through your historical data, categorize every transaction, and reconcile your accounts to ensure your foundation is 100% accurate before moving into monthly maintenance. This ensures you are fully tax-ready and have a clear starting point for future growth.
5. Can you handle my payroll, or do I need a separate service?
Answer: We offer integrated payroll services to keep your operations streamlined. By managing your payroll through QuickBooks, we ensure that your tax filings, employee payments, and benefit deductions are automatically synced with your general ledger. This eliminates manual entry errors and ensures that your labor costs are accurately reflected in your monthly profit reports.
6. Is it safe to share my bank statements and sensitive data with you?
Answer: Security is our top priority. We do not recommend sending sensitive documents via standard email. Instead, we utilize the secure “My Accountant” portal built directly into your QuickBooks Online account. This platform uses bank-level encryption to ensure that any document you upload from bank statements to tax forms is protected by the highest security standards in the financial industry.
